There needs to be an option to specify photo credits, copyright information, URL of original photo. When I entered new species that were not contained in the iphone dbase there was no photograph associated with the species observed. So, I went out on the web to find a good example of the species and uploaded the URL through the WildObs web interface. In no way am I trying to pass the photos off as my own and would like to give credit to the respective photographers and list their URL if possible.

It would be nice if users were able to download their observation lists to a CSV file so that they can maintain a backup and perform their own analysis on the data.

As of now there are not categories for every species on the planet. So, allow the user to add categories! For instance, I saw a Five-Lined Skink, and I would like to add that as a category. Instead, I have to mark it as simply a lizard, which is too general. Thanks!

Also, another bug occurs when I try to clear the category box for my entry. I delete the contents, but when I click out of the box it just reverts to the category which was previously chosen.

Terrific idea but I'd love to see a UK specific set of lists, and to be able to enter data via my Blackberry Bold. Also it might be an idea for users to be able to add their own species to the list, otherwise Choleopterists will never be well served :)

Soon there will be regional lists, perhaps by the county level not just country. A user can already have favourites, recent, local (their immediate neighbourhood) wish is a step in this direction.

Users can add species today as they wish.
